Job Description - KO709 - Lifestyle Assistant - NJ/NYC






Overview






Seeking a highly capable, discreet, and resilient Personal Lifestyle Assistant to provide direct, in-person support to a private principal based in Northern New Jersey with frequent travel into New York City.

 

This is a full-time, non-traditional role requiring flexibility, discretion, strong organizational instincts, and emotional steadiness. The principal maintains an active and dynamic lifestyle with frequent changes in schedule and priorities. The successful candidate must be adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, highly personalized environment where plans may shift quickly. The principal maintains additional residential property in Texas. Occasional travel may be required to oversee and coordinate operations at these locations.

 

This position is strictly personal in nature and does not involve corporate administrative responsibilities.

 

A company-issued phone and laptop will be provided for support purposes.









Responsibilities






Personal & Lifestyle Support

  • Manage and adjust daily schedule and logistics in real time
  • Drive principal throughout NJ and NYC (must be confident driving in Manhattan)
  • Accompany principal to appointments, workouts, lessons, social engagements, and activities as requested
  • Anticipate needs and proactively resolve issues
  • Provide consistent, steady support amid frequent schedule changes and evolving priorities

    Household & Property Oversight
  • Oversee day-to-day household operations
  • Manage housekeepers and external vendors
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and service appointments
  • Organize and maintain residence
  • Handle deliveries, returns, and personal errands
  • Assist with dog walking and basic pet care as needed
  • Oversee vehicle management (movement, service, inspections, insurance coordination)
  • Take operational responsibility for residential properties in Texas, including vendor coordination, maintenance oversight, and periodic on-site travel as require

Personal Administrative Management

  • Manage personal accounts, subscriptions, and online platforms
  • Review and reconcile credit card statements
  • Coordinate personal bill payments
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records
  • Conduct research and complete ad hoc projects as requested

Availability & Flexibility

  • Willingness to work outside traditional business hours, including evenings and weekends as required
  • Ability to adapt to last-minute changes without disruption
  • Reliable availability and responsiveness when support is needed

Requirements






  • Minimum 5 years supporting a private principal or high-level individual
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • NJ-based residence required
  • Comfortable driving in NYC regularly
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to Texas as needed
  • Tech proficiency (email, online banking systems, scheduling platforms, spreadsheets)
  • Physically capable of active, on-the-go days
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Must have a very flexible schedule and be available to provide support after standard business hours and on the weekend as needed
  • Strong interpersonal maturity and ability to navigate direct communication styles








Salary and Benefits






  • Salary DOE 
    • $130-$150 
      • 100% employer-paid medical (HDP), dental, and vision premiums

      • Medical coverage effective the 1st day of the month following hire
