We are currently looking for a caring and compassionate Home Care Aide with experience in Dementia Care to support our clients in La Jolla. If you're someone who enjoys helping others and values the importance of companionship, we would love to hear from you!

As a Cheer Home Care Aide, your role will involve providing thoughtful and respectful non-medical support to our seniors, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. You will assist with daily activities, ensuring our clients feel comfortable and at home.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Offering companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations.
• Supporting clients with dementia by creating a safe and nurturing environment.
• Light housekeeping and help with errands.
• Transportation to appointments or social activities.

We’re seeking a dependable and experienced caregiver to provide support for a client in La Jolla who requires moderate assistance with ADLs, dementia care, and safe transfers. This role also includes meal preparation, transportation, and collaborative support for the client’s spouse in a warm private home environment. Shift times include Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday/Sunday 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM

• Experience in Dementia Care is essential.
• Cell phone with internet access for communication.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a warm attitude.
• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED.

Cheer Offers:

• Hourly Rate: $20 to $23, depending on experience, certifications, reference reviews, car access, and more.
