THE ROLE: LABORATORY ASSISTANT

Job Responsibilities:

  • Load samples in hematology, coagulation, chemistry, and urinalysis
  • Call critical results
  • Perform instrument maintenance under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor
  • Archive and retrieve samples
  • Perform inventory
  • Unpack stock and maintain department supplies as needed

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior laboratory, phlebotomy or medical office experience required
  • Word processing and spreadsheet skills preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Mon-Fri: 7am-6pm availability (shifts discussed during interview)
