This position is intended to be focused on returned product decontamination, with opportunities to support additional returned product activities as needed. \n\n \n\nWork Mode \nAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office 5 days per week.\n\n \n\nRelocation \nRelocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.\n\n \n\nVISA \nBoston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.\n\n \n\nYour responsibilities will include: \n\n * Perform returned product decontamination in a lab using medium and high-level disinfectants. \n * Handle and disinfect biohazardous returned products which may contain blood, body fluids, and body tissue. \n * Understand and adhere to general lab safety practices including but limited to; wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), following chemical safety, and following lab procedures. \n * Prep and label products to be delivered to the Complaint Investigation Site (CIS) labs for analysis.\n * Manage a large daily volume of returned products while maintaining product traceability and organization. \n * Maintain a clean and organized work environment utilizing 5S methodologies and participating in regular lab cleanings. \n * Actively interface with other Boston Scientific departments to corroborate special needs or procedure changes for product processing.\n * Support returned product activities such as data entry into the complaint management system, returned product triage, archival, and scrap. \n * Actively participate in continuous improvement projects and activities. \n * Communicate within the team and to downstream customers to ensure process fluidity and transparency. \n\n\n\n \n\nRequired qualifications:\n\n * 3 years of experience with a High School Degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience\n\n\n\n \n\nPreferred qualifications:\n\n * 1 year of relevant experience (decontamination, good laboratory practices, or other post-market experience)\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in a STEM field\n\n\n\n \n\nRequisition ID: 624218\n\nMinimum Salary: $ 43368\n\nMaximum Salary: $ 73736\n\nThe anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) \u2013 see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com\u2014will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
