Lab Associate

Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a "Lab Associate” based out of Philadelphia, PA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $28/hr on W2

Key Responsibilities 

1. Support formulation development for early and late -stage gene therapy products.
   

2. Assist in fill/finish process development including container closures and parenteral devices.
   

3. Execute studies for Extractables & Leachables (E&L), compatibility, and in -use administration testing.
   

4. Design and perform administration device studies (large molecule injectable devices).
   

5. Conduct biophysical characterization and high -throughput formulation screening.
   

6. Support downstream process development related to drug product formulation.
   

7. Collaborate cross -functionally with Analytical Development, CMC, Clinical, and Drug Substance teams.
   

8. Assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues (internal/external sites).
   

9. Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with GMP and company procedures.
   

10. Prepare and present experimental data to internal stakeholders.
    

Qualifications

• B.S. in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutics, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  

• 0–2 years of industry experience.
  

• Basic understanding of large molecule drug product development (preferred).
  

• Exposure to formulation, parenteral devices, container closures, or process development (nice to have).
  

• Strong lab skills and ability to follow SOPs.
  

• Good documentation and teamwork skills.
