We are conducting a search for a Lab Director in WNY to join a community hospital with a February start date. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a dedicated laboratory team in a full-time, weekday schedule. Position Highlights:
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Medical Director.
Team Leadership: Oversee a laboratory staff of 11 FTEs.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
Potential $5,000 relocation assistance.
PTO: 182 hours annually (inclusive of sick and vacation time).
Retirement Plan: 403(b) starting Day 1, with a hospital contribution of 3.25% of your annual salary.
Holidays: 8 paid holidays per year.
Health Insurance: The hospital covers 50% of the deductible.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or a related field (minimum).
Certification: ASPC certification required.
Experience: Prior experience managing personnel, with proven leadership, coaching, and disciplinary skills.
Must possess strong management and organizational capabilities.
Your Role: As Lab Director, you will lead daily operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance within the laboratory. You will coach and manage a team of 11 FTEs, driving performance and fostering a collaborative and disciplined environment.
