Lab Manager

Description

TRISTAR is seeking a Lab Manager for our  government customer in Bloomington, IN

• The Lab Manager will support laboratory maintenance for a program performing information technology tasking
• This support would include software maintenance, software installation, hardware configuration, record keeping, hardware setup, hardware maintenance, laboratory configuration, lab audits, receiving and shipping material, and general cleanliness of the lab environment

Position Responsibilities 

• Software (maintenance, installation, control)
• Hardware configuration and record keeping
• Hardware setup and maintenance
• Laboratory configuration and audits
• Laboratory asset utilization scheduling
• Receiving and shipping material
• Verification of items received and going out. Accurate accounting of all items maintained within the facility for the program

Requirements

• Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Windows Server experience
• Linux Red Hat Enterprise experience
• Computer Networking experience
• Accurate record keeping
• Capable of working on a cross-functional team and providing them support to accomplish their tasking
• Work with customers, ensuring timely support and communication
• Self starter, able to identify gaps, areas of need, and anticipate needs
• Ability for some local travel
• Must be a US Citizen
• An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one 

Education and Certification:

• AS/BS Degree in Information Technology field
• Must have or be willing to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to starting
