Triveni Bio is breaking new ground in the identification of novel disease targets – working at the convergence of human genetics, best-in-class antibody design, and precision medicine. We are pioneering a Mendelian genetics-informed precision medicine approach to develop functional antibodies for the treatment of immunological and inflammatory (I&I) disorders. SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to join our Research team to support our lab and facilities operations. In this role, you will ensure seamless lab operations, safety and continuous improvement for a high functioning lab working on cutting-edge scientific research. On a day-to-day basis, you will serve as the primary contact for lab operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, waste management and laboratory safety. You will leverage strong organizational and computer skills to ensure accurate tracking and integration of lab resources and records. This is a critical role in a dynamic and collaborative environment, focusing on optimizing lab and facility functions to support scientific innovation. As this is a lean team, you will be exposed to multiple facets of research and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee lab equipment purchases, including price negotiation and installation
- Coordinate maintenance, repair, training, and calibration of lab equipment
- Manage record keeping systems for MTAs, service contracts, and other documentation
- Oversee lab safety and regulatory compliance, including tracking of chemicals, hazardous materials, and enforcing PPE and laboratory safety policies
- Conduct safety inspections and best practices training
- Purchase and track delivery of critical reagents and consumables
- Maintain and continuously update Biologic and Biology department inventories using ELN and other digital systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility
- Collaborate with scientists to identify workflow bottlenecks and process improvement opportunities
- Provide support for the administration team for set up and break down of corporate events including town halls, social events, etc.
- Anticipate, troubleshoot, and resolve facility-related problems in collaboration with the landlord
- Other duties as needed to support the evolving needs of the lab and company
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree with 5 or more years of experience in a biotech or pharmaceutical company
- General biology laboratory experience
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and documentation (OSHA, local biosafety regulations, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work within defined timelines
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills critical for working in a collaborative environment
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in ELN inventory management, LIMS, procurement platforms and standard Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, small company with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Able to work on-site and attend in-person meetings
