Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring for a Laboratory Technician in Cherry Valley, IL. As a Laboratory Technician, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and play a crucial role in all aspects of manufacturing operations for a leading company in the Heat-Treating industry.
Cardinal Staffing Services is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation of $16.50/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include 3rd shift. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing and analysis on heat-treated parts, materials, production chemicals, and atmospheres.
- Maintain accurate logs of analysis and communicate results to managers.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the laboratory facility.
- Alert managers of any out-of-tolerance conditions discovered during testing.
- Maintain and verify the functionality of lab equipment.
- Monitor and replenish lab supplies as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Flexibility to train on days before moving to nights
