Lab Technician/Clerk

Performs routine material sampling and basic testing under direct supervision. Supports daily quality control and production needs. Maintains a clean and organized laboratory workspace.

• Collect samples of raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Perform basic laboratory tests (e.g., moisture, pH, particle size analysis).
• Record data accurately in logs or databases.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Report irregular test results or sample issues to supervisor.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Required:
  • High school diploma or GED. 
  • High level of safety and quality.
  • Ability to multi-task at a fast-pace (at times), work in outside conditions during all seasons, climb multi-levels by stairs & ladders, work from elevated platforms, use hand tools (shovel, hammer, wrenches, etc.)
  • Good problem-solving skills.
• Preferred:
  • Associate degree in science.
  • 0–1 year of lab or quality experience.
  • Mine Safety and Health (MSHA) Knowledge.
  • Forklift experience.
  • Computer Software. 
  • Warehouse experience.
