Status: Full-time

Hours: 40/week, Monday - Friday, 9 am-6 pm

Location: Bloomington, IN or Brooklyn, New York

Reports to: Head of Label & Shared Services

Position Summary:

Working closely with the Head of Label & Shared Services and SD’s Production manager, the Client Manager works directly with our nontraditional label clients in both day-to-day label relations and running bespoke release campaigns when clients opt in to that service. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Label Services.  

Responsibilities:

• Serve as Client Manager for a roster of N. American L&SS Clients  


• Collaborate with the Head of Label & Shared Services and the wider Services team to be the project lead on a stable of N. American-focused clients opting into full project services.


• Work closely with the Resources Coordinator to organize assets collected from artists, managers, and 3rd parties (ie: photographers, video directors, mastering houses). Distribute assets to a wider label team via Asana, Slack, and other shared resource tools.  


• With the Resources Coordinator, prepare and update core metadata and other new release materials for distribution title set-up via OpenPlay.  


• Work closely with Digital Operations Team to ensure setup issues are communicated and take lead on metadata problem-solving, as necessary.  


• Work closely with the Head of Label & Shared Services and International Campaign Manager to manage campaign deadlines and communicate changes to campaigns to other departments within SD as necessary  


• Coordinate logistics for and participate in project communications, including planning meetings and project calls, as well as disseminating notes to the teams  


• Assist on new initiatives and special projects within the Label Services department as necessary

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.  


• Must possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.  


• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite  


• Must be able to demonstrate independent thought and action while operating in sync with a team.  


• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.


• Effectively manage multiple concurrent projects.


• Not required, but experience with image editing software, like Adobe Photoshop is helpful


• Not required, but familiarity with Facebook/Instagram and Google ad platforms is helpful

Bloomington, IN Salary: $50,000 annually
