Label Technician (Mon-Thurs, 3pm-1am)

Sheboygan Paper Box Company is seeking a detail-oriented Label Technician to join our Finishing Department This role plays a critical part in ensuring labels, load tags, and outgoing product from the Finishing Department are accurate and meet quality standards before shipment.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable with computer-based tasks, and takes pride in accuracy and consistency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Schedule: 

Monday – Thursday | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Consistent schedule with three-day weekends every week.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify accuracy and quality of labels, load tags, and outgoing product from the Finishing Department.


• Ensure all labeling and documentation meets job specifications before shipment.


• Perform accurate computer data entry related to labeling and load verification.


• Identify and resolve discrepancies by communicating with leads or supervisors as needed.


• Multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.


• Follow safety, quality, and department procedures at all times.


• Work independently while supporting the Finishing team as needed.


• Learn and perform all duties associated with the Label Technician role through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.


• Strong computer and data entry skills required.


• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.


• Strong basic math skills.


• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.


• Willingness to learn new processes and responsibilities.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards.


• Previous manufacturing or quality-related experience is highly preferred
