Position Overview

As the Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will serve as both a hands-on clinical leader and administrative coordinator, ensuring excellence in patient care delivery while managing staffing, quality metrics, and departmental operations during the night shift. This role combines direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity for experienced L&D nurses ready to advance their careers.

Essential Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all clinical operations during the night shift, including emergency response, staffing allocation, and patient flow
• Provide direct patient care including labor management, delivery assistance, and OR scrub support as needed
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices
• Mentor and develop staff while fostering a collaborative team environment
• Manage patient throughput, including admissions and discharges
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Implement and monitor evidence-based practices and quality metrics
• Lead service recovery efforts and maintain high patient satisfaction scores

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license with Associate's Degree (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Previous leadership experience in Women's Services, L&D, NICU, or Mother-Baby Units
• BCLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS certification (required within 1 year of hire)
• Strong clinical skills including delivery management and OR scrub experience
• Excellence in communication and team leadership
