Labor & Delivery RN

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse Labor & Delivery to join our dedicated team in Houston, TX. This is a full-time night shift position within our acute care setting, where you'll provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during one of the most important moments in their lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, administer medications, and assist with deliveries.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the healthcare team to ensure safe, compassionate care.
• Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold hospital safety standards.

Qualifications Required

• Active RN license in Texas or an active multi-state compact RN license (clear of stipulations/disciplinary actions).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. (ADN and new graduates will not be considered.)
• 3-5 years of acute care Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Full-time night shift availability required; no day shift, part-time, transfer, or promotional opportunities available.
• Updated and accurate resume with job history and unit experience required for consideration.

Qualifications Preferred

• Prior Women's Services RN experience beyond Labor & Delivery.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Candidates who are transparent about their unit, shift, and location preferences will be prioritized to ensure long-term success in the role.
