The Opportunity
We're seeking a Mid to Senior Level Associate to join one of our esteemed clients in their Labor & Employment Department in California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex employment law matters involving both litigation and advice and counseling, with a particular focus on California employment laws and regulations.

What You'll Do

• Litigate Employment Law Cases: Represent employers in matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge, wage and hour disputes, and class actions.
• Advise and Counsel Clients: Provide strategic advice to employers on compliance with California employment laws and other workplace issues.
• Draft and Advocate: Prepare and review legal documents, pleadings, and motions while building compelling legal arguments.
• Collaborate and Build: Contribute to the growth of a nationally recognized Labor & Employment practice, working alongside a team of dedicated professionals.

What You Bring to the Table

• Experience:
  • At least five years of experience representing employers in employment law matters, with two years specific to California.
  • Strong background in wage and hour law, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful discharge actions, and class action litigation.
• Education: J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Bar Admission: Admission to the California Bar is required.
• Skills:
  • Superb writing, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex litigation and provide sound legal advice.
• Mindset: Ambition, drive, and a team-oriented approach to client service and practice development.

• Employment Law Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of California-specific employment laws and regulations.
• Litigation Experience: Strong track record of handling complex litigation, including wage and hour disputes and class actions.
• Client-Centered Approach: Commitment to delivering exceptional legal solutions tailored to employer needs.
• Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to work effectively within a dynamic team and contribute to the growth of a national practice.
