A leading national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney to join its Chicago office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing employers in sophisticated labor and employment matters, including employment litigation, workplace counseling, labor relations, and compliance matters.
• 3–6 years of labor and employment experience
• Experience with employment litigation and employer-side counseling preferred
• Experience handling wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, leave and accommodation, and wrongful termination matters
• Experience with workplace investigations, employment policies, handbooks, and employment agreements preferred
• Traditional labor experience, including union matters and collective bargaining, is a plus
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Illinois bar admission required or ability to become admitted
