Labor and Employment Litigation Associate

Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a motivated associate with 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience to join its nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in the Houston office.

Key Experience

• Handling TROs, temporary injunctions, trade secret misappropriation, and noncompete litigation.
• Exposure to wage and hour class actions and single-plaintiff employment litigation.
• Strong legal writing skills, with experience in discovery, motion practice, and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Preferred experience in trial preparation (state and federal courts) and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations.

• Demonstrated client relationship management and business development potential.
• Exceptional work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collegial environment.
• Excellent academic credentials required.
• To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Texas Bar.
