Laboratory Supervisor

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor for a permanent opportunity in Bradenton, Florida.

This role provides supervisory leadership within the clinical laboratory, supporting technical and non-technical staff while ensuring regulatory compliance, quality standards, and operational efficiency. The Laboratory Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining high-quality laboratory services and a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise technical and non-technical laboratory personnel and assign work areas and shifts.

• Support daily laboratory operations while ensuring appropriate staffing and workflow coverage.

• Oversee and participate in regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and service-level processes.

• Supervise laboratory functions including specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.

• Ensure laboratory practices align with licensure requirements and regulatory standards.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to laboratory staff to promote collaboration and accountability.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience)

• $32.62/hour (minimum)

• $48.93/hour (maximum)

• Active State of Florida Laboratory Supervisor license for the position being applied for.

• Associate Degree in Science or Medical Technology required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.

• Prior laboratory supervisory experience REQUIRED.

• ASCP certification required.

• Experience across multiple technical laboratory specialties preferred.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and regulatory compliance skills.
