$108,000.00-$135,000.00

Job Summary:

Monitor accurate, timely and cost-effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease by performing complex chemical, biological, hematological , immunological and microscopic tests.

Position Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide training
• Check competencies
• Document fair and objective performance evaluation
• Participating in Quality Improvement activities
• Review of all critical values

Required Background:

• NYSED license required/Laboratory Technologist Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, Biology or Chemistry required
• Minimum of six years’ recent experience as a Medical Technologist
• Prior experience in a leadership role
• Lab Science understanding of Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Blood Banking and Microbiology.
