Laboratory Technician - Vineyard

The Laboratory Technician I position at Innovative Labs is vital to the success of the lab as well as the overall success of manufacturing quality products. The lab tech is to work under minimal supervision and function quite independently upon completion of training.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will:

• Handles samples and performing analyses according to procedures and test methods


• May sign off on others work when trained to do so.


• Maintains and performs calibration checks on equipment.


• Reports deficiencies or malfunctions to management.


• Identifies, records and corrects non-conformances as needed.


• Improves laboratory and/or quality activities on a continuous basis.


• Receipt of finished goods samples from production floor


• Manage retention samples of finished goods


• Ensure environmental monitoring program is maintained.


• Performs air quality analysis testing.


• Performs water quality analysis testing.


• Performs surface swab testing and drain swab testing.


• Maintains thermometer calibration program


• Cleans and verifies accuracy of thermometers used on production lines.


• Keeps documentation of service performed.


• Keeps laboratory clean and organized.


• Report and review results.


• Other related duties as required.
