A Day in the Life of:

As a member of our team, you will report to the Grounds Maintenance Crew Leader. You will ensure tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. This role will be responsible for trimming and mowing grass as well as trimming shrubs, hedges, and trees with appropriate tools. Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• 
  
  Maintain grounds and landscaped areas in a clean, professional, and inspection-ready condition.
  
  


• 
  
  Perform mowing, trimming, edging, planting, mulching, watering, and general landscape maintenance.
  
  


• 
  
  Remove litter from grounds and common areas, assist with snow and ice removal as needed, and safely operate landscaping equipment and gas-powered tools.
  
  


• 
  
  Participate in safety and job-related training while following established safety standards and best practices at all times.
  
  

Requirements and Qualifications:

• This position requires a REAL ID.


• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent (GED), preferred


• At least three (3) years of related experience


• Capability to work in inclement weather and extreme temperatures


• Knowledge of and ability to work with gas-powered tools and mowers


• Good oral and written communication skills for positive and clear interactions


• Excellent interpersonal skills


• Proficiency to work as part of a team and follow directions


• Ability to lift to 50 pounds


• Perform tasks that involve repetitive bending at the waist and kneeling.
