Laborer (H)

TDX Corporation is recruiting for the position of Laborer. This is a regular full-time position located in St. Paul, AK. This position reports to the General Manager.

Summary

This position consists of performing tasks involving physical labor and general maintenance on company properties on Saint Paul Island.  It also consists of operating tools of all types, cleaning and preparing sites, heavy carpentry focus, site utility installation assistance, masonry work, plumbing, and general maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean or prepare work site(s) to eliminate possible hazards.


• Load, unload, or identify materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to appropriate locations, according to manager’s guidance.


• Must be able to work independently or within a small team as necessary.


• Ability to lift to 50 pounds frequently in carrying out duties.


• Disposing of construction debris.


• Be responsible for personal and project safety.


• Be responsible for project grounds maintenance.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Must have a current valid Driver’s License


• Ability to adjust actions in relation to others and flexibility to perform multiple tasks and to change task as needed to address project needs.


• Ability to work overtime as needed.
