LABORER - PARKS AND GROUNDS

The Parks and Grounds Division is now accepting applications for the position of Laborer. Duties include mowing fields, ballfield preparation, flowerbed maintenance and assisting with leaf collection. Must have ability to understand and follow specific instructions and the ability to perform heavy manual labor.

Essential job Duties:

• Semi-skilled manual work in grounds maintenance and ballfield maintenance.


• Knowledge and use of standard hand tools, ability to understand and follow specific instructions.


• Ability to perform heavy manual labor; and lifting and moving of heavy objects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:                                           

• High School Diploma


• Valid Driver’s License


• Experience in landscaping and grounds maintenance preferred.

Salary:   $18.37 Hourly
