Laborer/Pipe Layer

Description

• The Pipe Layer Laborer installs and directs pipes for construction projects, such as connecting buildings to water systems, underground drainage pipes, and sewers and water mains.

• Preparing the ground and digging trenches
• Assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems
• Aligning pipes and sealing joints with cement or glue
• Following blueprints and written instructions to ensure pipes are positioned and sloped correctly
• Cutting pipes to the required length using hand and power tools
•  Removing old or broken piping systems

• ability to read blueprints
• works well with a team
• able to lift up to 75lbs
