Labourer

We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented Laborer to join a leading recycling company in Malta. The ideal candidate will assist in the safe and efficient processing of recyclable materials, with a focus on technical tasks such as electrical dismantling. This role is essential to supporting sustainable practices and ensuring materials are prepared correctly for reuse or disposal.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection, sorting, and processing of recyclable materials, including metals, plastics, and electronic waste

• Perform electrical dismantling of appliances and equipment, safely removing components for recycling

• Operate basic hand tools and equipment used in dismantling and recycling processes

• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

• Load and unload materials manually or with machinery, as required

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly

• Support the recycling team in day-to-day operational tasks as needed

Requirements

• Previous experience in manual labor, recycling, or related fields is preferred

• Basic technical knowledge or experience with electrical dismantling or electronic waste processing

• Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively

• Good physical fitness and stamina for manual handling tasks

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

• Ability to work well within a team environment

• Flexibility to work various shifts if required
