Lakota - Warehouse Specialist - DLA Norfolk

Lakota Solutions, LLC (LSC) is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for their Norfolk, VA location.

Position Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment’s storage plan.
• Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials IAW prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; and removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Uses MAT and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements in the PWS, i.e., resolving common error conditions, responds to computer output instructions or error conditions, and following SOPs.

• Candidate must have ability to obtain and maintain US government Common Access Card (CAC)
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a position of public trust/NACI.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen
• Must possess a knowledge of DD1348-1A receipt processing, Navy requisitions, inventory procedures, supply operations, data entry into personal computers and scanning devices, and possess an understanding of storage plans.
• Must possess a valid motor vehicle and forklift license for forklifts up to 20K.
