Lamination Manager

Looking for someone who is willing to lead our lamination department.  Need to oversee the day to day operations.  Ensuring we stay on schedule building our fiberglass parts of the boat that include the deck, hull and small parts. 

Able to lead the team with their hand lay-up process to apply the skincoat and bulkcoat laminate, core materials and final layer of laminate.

Familiar with building plugs - tooling 

Full time Monday thru Friday some Saturdays

Must maintain our production schedule - reach daily and weekly goals; keeping up with our output and manage workflow for the teams.

Must maintain control of cost against material

Knowledge of technical controls such as but not limited to quality control items such as temperature, pressure, tension, resin mix ratios, and cure times) and troubleshoot defects like delamination, bubbles, or wrinkles

OK with warehouse working environment - in a non-climate-controlled factory floor environment with exposure to heat, humidity, and PPE requirements (respirators, gloves, chemical suits)Experience in mold/tooling laminating

Knowledge of correct PPE - and able to enforce safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous chemicals, adhesives, resins, gelcoats
