Lamination Team Lead

Position Summary:

Oversee hourly employees and ensure schedules, policies and procedures are followed.  Organized and drives continuous improvement and help build/maintain a culture of good work ethic, loyalty, lean manufacturing. 

Job Responsibilities:

·        Reviews and maintains daily task

·        Develops and implements process improvements needed for optimal department performance

·        Ensure the employees are focused on customer and internal quality issues and anomalies

·        Update and share information from the Departmental and station boards

·        Collaboratively work with Engineering to launch new product and custom deviations

·        Help build and maintain world class 5’s

·        Help train and foster new employees

·        Fill in for jobs during high absenteeism

·        Reviews and maintains daily tasks

·        Other duties as necessary

Qualification Requirements:

• 
  1 to 2 years of experience in a leadership role in the marine industry


• 
  Demonstrated tangible leadership skills that cohere to the lean culture with the ability to engage, coach and develop associates and peers
