Lancaster Farming is seeking a results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing team and help drive audience growth, engagement, and revenue across our digital channels.

In this role, you’ll lead and execute digital marketing initiatives that support subscriber acquisition and retention, audience development, advertising sales, lead generation, and overall brand visibility. You’ll help bring Lancaster Farming’s content, special editions, industry reports, events, and advertising programs to the right audiences through strategic, data-driven marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical marketer with hands-on experience in email marketing, CRM management, Meta Business Suite, audience development, content promotion, lead generation, and marketing automation. This person will play an important role in developing campaigns that not only grow our audience but also generate meaningful opportunities for our advertising and sponsorship programs.

Key Responsibilities

Email Marketing & Audience Development

• Create, manage, and optimize email marketing campaigns to drive subscriber growth, readership engagement, and advertiser visibility.
• Develop newsletter strategies, promotional campaigns, drip sequences, and automated workflows.
• Segment subscriber lists for targeted communications and personalized content delivery.
• Analyze email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and engagement metrics.
• Maintain list hygiene and ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM and email marketing best practices.

CRM Management 

• Manage and optimize the organization's CRM platform (Go Highlevel).
• Build and maintain automated workflows, funnels, forms, landing pages, and lead nurturing campaigns.
• Monitor sales and marketing pipelines to support subscription sales, event registrations, advertiser leads, and customer retention initiatives.
• Generate reports and dashboards to measure campaign effectiveness and lead performance.
• Train internal staff on CRM processes and best practices as needed.

CMS Management

· Publishing paid articles (collaborative content/advertorial) to CMS 

· Manage minor changes to internal websites utilizing Wordpress and GoHighLevel

· Produce Engaging Content, Polls, and Surveys to assist editorial team in extending lengthier sessions on LancasterFarming.com

Social Media Content Management (Meta Business Suite)

• Manage and execute organic content schedules across Facebook and Instagram.
• Develop audience growth strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness within the agricultural community.
• Create campaign brief strategies for paid advertising campaigns through Meta Ads Manager and YouTube Ads.
• Create creative brief strategies and communicate with graphic design team for implementation
• Engage with followers and support community-building initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting

• Track and report key email marketing metrics, including subscriber growth, audience engagement, lead generation.
• Use data-driven insights to improve campaign performance and customer acquisition efforts.
• Present recommendations for continuous improvement to management.
• Provide SEO support to the editorial and marketing team utilizing SEM Rush, Google Trends, and/or Google Keyword Planner 

 What are we looking for? 

• 5  years of digital marketing experience.
• Proven  experience with: 
  • Email marketing platforms and campaign management
  • CRM  platforms
  • Meta  Business Suite 
• Strong understanding of marketing automation and customer journey development.
• Experience with audience segmentation and lead nurturing.
• Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong  organizational and project management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in publishing, media, or trade publications.
• Familiarity with content management systems such as Wordpress, GoHighLevel, BLOX CMS, etc.
• Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ad Manager, and SEO fundamentals.
• Graphic design and light video editing experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of subscription-based and advertising marketing strategies.
• Experience supporting event marketing and sponsorship promotions.
