Role Overview:
As a Land Acquisition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, negotiating, and acquiring land opportunities for our expanding portfolio of residential projects. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will lead the charge in securing prime real estate to support our mission of building homes that exceed expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities in the St. Louis market.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to assess property viability and potential returns.
- Negotiate purchase agreements, contracts, and other legal documents with landowners and developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, Construction, and Finance to ensure alignment of land acquisition efforts with overall business objectives.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders including landowners, brokers, and local government officials.
- Manage due diligence processes including zoning, entitlements, environmental assessments, and feasibility studies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in land acquisition, preferably within the residential real estate or homebuilding industry.
- Strong understanding of land development processes, zoning regulations, and real estate finance.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating land transactions and closing deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
