Land Administrator

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced individual to join Venture Global’s land management team, which oversees the evaluation, acquisition, transfer and administration of Venture Global’s real property interests in Louisiana and Texas. These property interests consist of owned and leased parcels, rights of way, servitudes, licenses and other similar instruments.

The Land Administrator will contribute as an integral member of the land management team that supports the Land and Development Group. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide comprehensive land management and administration expertise, tracking key dates and milestones and working alongside internal legal, development, finance, environmental and other parties with the objective of achieving business objectives and driving performance.

The Land Administrator will be a member of the Legal Department and report to a designated Assistant General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

· Administer all records relating to Venture Global’s real property interests, and maintain detailed reports tracking Venture Global’s obligations to landowners and other third parties.

· Assist the GIS Manager in implementing land records, real property interests, and contractual obligations in a spatial database such as ArcGIS.

· Establish and maintain land ownership records.

· Manage data entry for land records and maintain filing systems, document controls, and filing indices.

· Participate in new land acquisition initiatives.

· Assist with document recordation.

· Review and confirm all data in Limited Title Certificates prepared by land brokers.

· Review and consolidate all relevant contractual documentation prior to its review and approval by stakeholders.

· Attend meetings with key vendors and stakeholders and identify and communicate any risks.

· Control and coordinate communication to and from Venture Global and external parties by drafting formal communications in accordance with contract provisions.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree.

· Minimum of 5 years of land administration-related experience, preferably in a development role.

· Experience in the energy sector (pipelines and other midstream facilities) is strongly preferred.

· Louisiana and Texas real estate experience is a plus.

Skills:

· Strong understanding and experience with various types of real property interests including leases, rights of way and servitudes.

· Experience working in CLM systems, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite, along with experience utilizing Google Earth and ArcGIS.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

· Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships and engage with multiple stakeholders across many disciplines within the organization.

· A high degree of motivation and self-starting capabilities. Proven ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and manage multiple complex priorities with minimal guidance at any given time.
