Land Survey Crew Chief

WHO WE ARE:  Maverick Engineering (Maverick) is a woman-owned civil engineering firm based in Midland, TX.  (We are NOT associated with Maverick Engineering, Inc. based in Houston, TX.)

WHAT WE DO:  We provide private and public sector clients with a full range of professional services in civil engineering and land surveying.  Maverick provides planning, design and construction administration services in these areas to provide clients everything needed to carry projects from concept through completion.

WHAT WE SEEK:  We are looking for an experienced Survey Crew Chief to grow with us.  As a Crew Chief, you will perform the following:

• Conduct field survey activities including design and construction surveys for land development projects.


• Utilize VRS and GPS instruments.


• Supervise and train Instrument Technician and Rodman.


• Read and interpret property descriptions, right-of-way maps and other engineering related plan sets.


• Responsible for maintenance of crew vehicle, equipment and management of supplies.


• Adhere to all applicable safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Must have prior survey experience.


• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.


• Trimble experience a plus..
