Land Surveyor In Training (LSIT)

WHO WE ARE:  Maverick Engineering (Maverick) is a woman-owned civil engineering firm based in Midland, TX.  We are NOT associated with Maverick Engineering, Inc. based in Houston, TX.  If you like corporate structure, this is not the company for you.  Our staff enjoys a relaxed atmosphere without being in a cube farm.  Even though our work is serious, we have fun while doing it.

WHAT WE DO:  We provide private and public sector clients with a full range of professional services in civil engineering and land surveying.  Maverick provides planning, design and construction administration services in these areas to provide clients everything needed to carry projects from concept through completion.

WHAT WE SEEK:  We are looking for a Land Surveyor In Training (LSIT) to grow with us.  As an LSIT, you will work under the direction of a Professional Land Surveyor performing:

• Management of survey projects including Boundary, Topographic Design and Platting for residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial sites.


• Manage field crews including the planning, scheduling and coordination of survey work.


• Manage field data collection and calculations.


• Assist RPLS with deliverables.


• Coordinate projects with CADD technicians.


• Develop and maintain client relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• LSIT required.


• Minimum 2 years’ experience in land development.
  


• AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience required.
