Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Landfill Compactor Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the Compactor Tractor in the Landfill and compacting the trash. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating heavy machinery and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Operate the Compactor Tractor in the Landfill and compact the trash

- Inspect the machinery before and after use to ensure it is in good working condition

- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Report any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately

- Perform routine maintenance on the machinery as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating heavy machinery

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong attention to detail and safety

- Good communication skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
