Landing Gear (LG) Parts Cleaning Technician

This is a First shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm position with some mandatory weekends.

TAT Technologies is looking for a qualified Landing Gear (LG) Parts Cleaning Technician. These Technicians will perform the following duties:

• Confirm correct parts and number of parts before starting cleaning process
• Prepare parts and assemblies for cleaning process according to work order
• Read work orders and follow instructions in order of operation with high attention to detail
• Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner, practices proper tool and FOD control.
• Accurately complete work orders, BOMs, data inputs within ERP system.
• Reads and understands Commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, and ISO documentations and other related materials.
• Operates, maintains and services specialized equipment.
• Read and interprets maintenance manuals, or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned task.
• Must learn to read and interpret OEM repair manual instructions.
• Become an expert in the specialized processes for cleaning all parts.
• Work cross-functionally with the all operations departments
• Perform some light preventative maintenance to equipment and perform daily cleaning task of area.
• Cleaning and removing paint from parts using chemical paint stripper and blast cabinets.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma/GED minimum.
• Experience in Honeywell 331 series APU’s preferred.
• Ability to locate, read and follow the technical data appropriate for the assigned task.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English fluently.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
