Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Landscape Arborist to join our team at Nature Care. As a Landscape Arborist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and preserving trees and shrubs across various landscapes, ensuring their health, safety, and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise in tree care, knowledge of sustainable practices, and commitment to environmental conservation will contribute to the success of our mission.

Responsibilities:

1. Tree Assessment and Maintenance: Conduct thorough assessments of trees and shrubs, identifying health issues, pest infestations, diseases, or structural problems. Develop and implement tailored care plans to promote tree health and longevity.




2. Pruning and Trimming: Guide expert pruning and trimming techniques to maintain tree structure, promote healthy growth, and enhance their appearance, adhering to industry standards and best practices.




3. Tree Planting and Transplanting: Assist in selecting appropriate tree species for various landscapes and participate in tree planting and transplanting projects.




4. Tree Removal and Hazard Mitigation: Safely and skillfully remove trees when necessary due to disease, structural instability, or safety concerns. Implement strategies for hazard mitigation to prevent potential risks.




5. Soil Analysis and Fertilization: Conduct soil analysis and recommend appropriate fertilization and soil improvement techniques to enhance tree health.




6. Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Implement IPM strategies to manage pests and diseases in an eco-friendly manner, minimizing the use of harmful chemicals.




7. Tree Preservation and Conservation: Promote tree preservation and conservation efforts, advocating for the protection of mature trees during construction or development projects.

Requirements:

4. Skills: Proficiency in tree assessment, pruning, and trimming techniques. Knowledge of sustainable landscaping practices and integrated pest management.




5. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
