Landscape Architect Designer

Join our growing Landscape Architecture team as an experienced Designer! In this role you will work under close supervision by a Project Landscape Architect, Project Engineer, and Project Manager. As a Designer you will perform studies, site analysis and/or conceptual designs, and supporting calculations / documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients.
Location

This position will report to our Charlotte office on a hybrid work schedule.
The Impact You Will Have
Collect and assimilate data and perform site research (zoning compliance, landscape ordinance, and site development standards), site analysis and/or conceptual site planning of project elements
Draw (Proficient in Civil CAD Drafting and Design) construction document details under the direction of others
Compute quantities and assist the project manager in preparing cost estimates
Assist the project manager with the production and coordination of master plans, conceptual site plans, and final construction documents on assigned projects
Maintain project files and other site-related project data and maintain records pertinent to the progress of the work
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture or related discipline required
Knowledgeable in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products

2-3 years of Civil CAD Drafting and Design experience with land development projects preferred

Have the ability to prepare illustrative color site plans using at least one of the following software: CAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or Photoshop
Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects
Willingness to be adaptable to office and field inspection tasks

The position may include the need to perform Field Inspection and may require travel to project sites.

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written - e-mails, project memos, reports, etc.)
A detailed and organized individual who thrives in environments that are deadline driven
Understanding of the design process, how to prepare and organize a set of drawings, and deliverables that typically are associated with each phase of design. Accountable for full project deliverables
Good problem-solving skills
