Landscape Gardener / Container Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Gardener / Container Specialist to join our growing landscaping and horticulture team in Hingham, MA. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $45,000–$60,000 per year and is perfect for hands-on gardening professionals with 2–4 years of experience in landscaping, horticulture, or container planting. The ideal candidate will oversee container gardens, seasonal plantings, and general landscape upkeep for residential and commercial properties across Hingham, ensuring vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, install, and maintain container gardens, planters, and landscape beds for Hingham properties.
• Design and arrange seasonal plantings, including annuals, perennials, shrubs, and ornamental plants.
• Conduct pruning, fertilization, and pest/disease management to ensure plant health.
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, including watering, weeding, and soil care.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to deliver desired garden aesthetics.
• Monitor plant development, diagnose health concerns, and implement horticultural solutions.
• Operate landscaping equipment, irrigation systems, and hand/power tools safely.
• Support seasonal projects, including spring and fall container installations.

• 2–4 years of professional experience in landscaping, horticulture, or container gardening.
• Solid knowledge of plants, soil management, fertilization, and pest control.
• Ability to safely use landscaping tools, power equipment, and irrigation systems.
• Physically capable of performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Familiarity with landscape design principles is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
