Position Overview:

As a Landscape Maintenance Foreperson-in-Training, you will learn to be a key player in managing resources efficiently while delivering top-quality, detail-oriented landscape maintenance services. Your responsibilities include working alongside your team to maintain quality control, maximizing profitability through effective time management, and utilizing company assets wisely.  This position offers a competitive starting pay of $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience, with opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Demonstrate complete knowledge of NGLN Maintenance contracts and individual customer expectations.
• Proactively schedule extra labor or materials needed for upcoming visits in coordination with your supervisor.
• Provide hands-on training to team members under your supervision.
• Prioritize safety through the consistent use of PPE and prompt reporting of accidents or injuries.
• Conduct daily inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure safety, proper functioning, and neatness.
• Implement strict security measures: lock all equipment and trucks when not in use, both on job sites and at the shop.
• Keep accurate crew job time via phone app.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding daily activities and future plans.
• Uphold contract profitability by monitoring labor hours and materials used on projects.
• Respond to all client requests within 24 hours from the initial contact.
• Demonstrate a commitment to exceeding customer satisfaction.
• Participate in snow/ice removal operations while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Understand and execute the New Garden Way every day.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of landscape maintenance experience.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all times.
• Valid NC Driver's License with limited infractions.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
• Punctuality and minimal absences.
