We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to join our team and lead our maintenance operations.

Job Summary

The Landscape Maintenance Foreman is responsible for managing and executing landscape maintenance projects while ensuring high-quality work and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a comprehensive understanding of landscape maintenance practices. The foreman will lead a crew, manage job sites, and maintain effective communication with clients and management.

Job Functions

Job Site Management:

Oversee all activities on the job site to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Personnel Management:

Manage and direct crew members to ensure tasks are completed according to company standards.

Train and develop team members in best practices while promoting professional growth.

Foster a positive and productive team environment.

Customer Communication:

Coordinate effectively with customers, designers, and management to ensure accurate job completion and customer satisfaction.

Provide clear and concise verbal and written communication.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on job sites.

Operational Responsibilities:

Accurately track and record all job expenses, hours worked, and materials used.

Proficiently operate and maintain medium-weight landscaping equipment.

Manage materials and expenses efficiently.

Keep accurate records and maintain organization.

Communicate regularly with members of the management team.

Seasonal Demands:

Work 45-55 hours per week from March through November.

Be available on-call 24/7 during winter for snow removal operations.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance.

Proficiency in operating medium-weight landscaping equipment.

Comprehensive knowledge of turf, perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees.

Ability to obtain an in-field certification within 2 years of accepting the foreman position.

Highly motivated, self-driven, and detail oriented.

Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
