The RoleAs Landscape Manager, you’ll lead and develop a crew of 15–20 grounds/irrigation technicians, ensuring all aspects of landscaping, irrigation, horticulture, and snow removal across the community and common property are maintained to Club standards.
Key Responsibilities· Supervise crew for installation and maintenance of landscapes, irrigation systems, and seasonal plantings across homesites, clubhouse, lodge, equestrian barns, and golf course edges.· Oversee all irrigation: scheduling, monitoring, repairs, water usage reporting, and system winterization.· Manage horticulture and botany: tree, shrub, perennial care, pruning, pest/disease management.· Maintain records: maintenance logs, crew hours, budget tracking, irrigation usage, seasonal schedules.· Manage snow removal logistics and execution: plowing, blowing, sanding, equipment prep, snow storage, and drainage per Club standards.· Support property management and sub-association budgets around landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.· Enforce safety protocols, equipment maintenance, vehicle logs, and crew training.Requirements
Requirements
· Bachelor's or associate’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Botany, or equivalent experience.
· Proven leadership managing crews of 10+ in landscaping/grounds maintenance.
· Deep understanding of plant care and irrigation in mountain climates.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish—or a strong commitment to learn rapidly.
· Strong record-keeping skills: maintenance logs, scheduling.
· Valid driver’s license; on-call availability during snow season.
· Ability to work outdoors year-round in mountain conditions.
· Desirable Traits
· Landscape project planning and budgeting.
· Familiarity with HOA/ARB architectural and site guidelines.
· Experience with turf and agronomic practices.
· Certifications: ISA Arborist, irrigation credentials, snow-management training.
