We are seeking a Full-time Landscape Production Supervisor who is passionate about landscaping. You'll be responsible for managing all landscape services to ensure job site quality and appearance meet set standards, involving coordinating materials, personnel, equipment, and subcontractors. This role also includes hands-on work with crews, employee training and safety enforcement, administrative duties, and coordination with other departments to ensure efficient operations and client satisfaction.
Shift:
Monday – Friday, During Winter Season occasional weekends| 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay:
$28 - $31 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand client needs via regular communication with the Account Manager or branch manager.
- Ensure that job site quality and appearance meet client and MSNW standards.
- Manage all landscape services, including the coordination of all materials, people, equipment and subcontractors required to produce quality work.
- Inspect properties prior to scheduled services and prepare specific action plans for service, adjusting service schedules as needed.
- Monitor irrigation systems, identify problems or necessary repairs, and communicate recommendations to the Irrigation team.
- Monitor all aspects of the landscape and identify insect or disease problems.
- As necessary, perform hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands.
- Implement and enforce MSNW policies and procedures related to the proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for branch equipment.
- Work with the Account Manager to identify staffing needs, hire new crew employees, and prepare daily crew schedules.
- Hands-on training and support of crew employees, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards.
- Implement methods to improve safe workplace practices and monitor safety records.
- Maintain and manage all required administrative systems, including time sheets and service schedules.
- Coordinate with the Branch Administrator to ensure branch databases are consistently updated with current client information.
- Order materials as needed and monitor costs and deliveries.
- Request purchase orders and use in accordance with company guidelines

Requirements
- Spray Tech License, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Proven experience in landscape production management, with a focus on maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong understanding of landscape services, including material, equipment, and personnel coordination, as well as the identification and resolution of insect or disease problems.
- Landscape Enhancement project management a plus.
- Experience with irrigation systems, including monitoring, problem identification, and repair recommendations.
- Ability to perform hands-on work with crews and to adapt work and scheduling demands.
- Knowledge of industry policies and procedures, particularly regarding equipment upkeep, maintenance, storage, and training.
- Proven experience in team leadership, including staffing needs identification, hiring, scheduling, and training of crew members.
- Strong commitment to safety, with experience in implementing safe workplace practices and monitoring safety records.
- Proficiency in managing administrative systems, such as time sheets and service schedules.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with the Branch Manager, and other teams, as well as for understanding and addressing client needs.
- Experience in materials management, including ordering, cost monitoring, and deliveries.
- Proficiency in the use of purchase orders and adherence to company guidelines.
- Training or certification in landscape management is highly desirable.
- Access to reliable transportation
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Successful completion of a background check.
