Landscape Spray Technician

Essential Job Functions: 

• Round-up and bed weed spraying
• Insect and disease control by spraying chemicals
• Proper handling, mixing and application of pesticide      chemicals 
• Fertilization of all ornamental and annual beds
• Knowledge of edger, weed eaters, mowers, trimmers
• Maintain good communication between fellow employees,      members and other departments
• Other duties as assigned 

Essential Qualifications:

• Must have knowledge of landscape equipment 
• Must have Florida      driver’s license
• Must be insurable for automobile insurance with      company’s auto insurance carrier
• Must have high tolerance to work long hours in the sun,      heat and inclement weather
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively      in English
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs 
• Must be able to obtain pesticide license in 90 days
