Landscape Supervisor

Opal Collection is a leading beach resort developer, owner, and operator with multiple properties throughout the state of Florida. Our destinations are known for their beauty, hospitality, and exceptional guest experiences. To maintain world-class landscapes across our Sarasota and Florida West Coast properties, we are hiring an experienced Landscape Supervisor.

As Landscape Supervisor, you will oversee subcontracted landscape service providers to ensure our resorts reflect world-class quality at all times. This role requires a strong background in horticulture, irrigation, and the unique challenges of maintaining beach and coastal plant landscapes in luxury resort environments.

Landscape Supervisor Responsibilities

• Manage subcontracted landscape service providers to deliver exceptional results


• Coordinate and oversee daily schedules across multiple resort properties


• Ensure proper installation, care, and maintenance of coastal, beach and tropical plant material


• Monitor and oversee irrigation systems to maintain turf quality, plant health and irrigation efficiency


• Conduct regular inspections to uphold resort standards of excellence


• Ensure compliance with resort standards for safety, appearance, and sustainability


• Communicate with management and contractors regarding project updates and needs

Landscape Supervisor Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional landscaping experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role


• Strong knowledge of Florida coastal and beach-adapted plant material, turf care, and irrigation systems


• Familiarity with integrated pest management (IPM) and disease diagnosis


• Experience coordinating large-scale or multi-property landscape operations preferred


• Ability to interpret landscape plans and irrigation drawings


• FNGLA, GI-BMP, or other industry certifications preferred


• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills


• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean record


• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
