Landscape Technician

DCS is seeking a motivated General Laborer/Landscaper with a positive attitude and strong work ethics. This position plays a key role in supporting our field operations by performing a variety of essential tasks.

Must have landscaping experience! 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Load and unload equipment
• Collect trash and large debris
• Cut and remove weeds
• Trim trees
• Operate company vehicles
• Safely use power tools and equipment
• Provide landscaping services
• Apply herbicides
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving history required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and federal background check for working on railroad property.
• Ability to travel up to two weeks at a time; hotel accommodations and per diem provided by DCS.
• Landscaping experience required.
• Herbicide application experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pay rate: $20.00/hour
