Landscaper

Description

This is a full-time on-site Landscaper role located at Faith Church in Orlando, FL. The Landscaper will be responsible for landscape maintenance, gardening, irrigation, landscape design, and general groundskeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining campus landscaping
• Maintaining lawn, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation systems
• Fertilizing lawn, trees, flowers, and shrubs and spreading mulch
• Trimming trees, hedges, and shrubs, preventing and eliminating weeds
• Operating edgers, string trimmers, and blowers
• Operating and maintaining trucks and power tools
• Keeping grounds free from trash, litter, and debris. Emptying trash receptacles.
• Planting new flowers, decorative shrubs, and trees

Requirements

• Landscape Maintenance and Landscaping experience
• Gardening and Irrigation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and carry equipment on a frequent basis, at least 50 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods

Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial:

• Experience with commercial properties
• High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant certifications a plus
