Landscaper/Driver/Crew Leader

Landscaper Job Requirements and Responsibilities:

Follows written and verbal instructions from the crew leader and clients.

• Clean Driving record
• Able to work in 2 man or 3 man crew and function as independent foreman
• Must know how to trouble shoot irrigation, sprinkler and drainage issues and fix issue on site. Including wiring of valves and controllers (3 or more years experience)
• Ability to work valve locator
• Plants new flowers, trees, grass, hedges, and bushes.
• Maintains gardens and lawns, including trimming, pruning, raking, and weeding.
• Install outdoor lighting
• Follow blueprints to install flower bed rock bed borders
• Builds and renovates stone pathways, patios, pavers and ledges. (2 or more years of experience)
• Drainage Knowledge (3 or more years of experience)
• Experience installing pavers
• Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles.
• Drives work vehicles to and from sites.
• Adheres to all safety precautions.
• Ability to safe drive landscape truck and trailer and haul equipment to and from job site

Full time permanent position. Monday-Friday 40 hours per week

Landscaper Qualifications and Skills

• Uses equipment, including tractors, mowers, leaf blowers, and aerators.
• Lifts 50 pounds and handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, pulling, and climbing.
• Communicates effectively, speaking multiple languages is preferred.
• Works well independently and with a team.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 years of landscaping experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must have a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be over 25 years old.
