Landscaping Foreman

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate truck and trailer safely and efficiently


• Monitor crew productivity and mange crew members


• Report equipment and employee issues with Field Supervisor


• Crew foreman is responsible for scheduling and performing blade changes and deck maintenance/cleaning on mowers other routine maintenance will be completed by the shop.


• Mow lawns with push mower or zero turn riding mower


• Weedwack curbs, signs, sidewalks, etc


• Clean up jobsite when finished by blowing off all sidewalks, driveways or hard surfaces


• Edge and mulch beds as well as perform site cleanups during Spring and Fall


• Abide by all federal, state, and local pesticide laws.


• Abide by all federal, state and, local transportation laws, during operations of company vehicles


• Maintain Inch and co. Landscape quality standards.
  


• Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers, as needed. .


• Report any and all equipment issues immediately to field supervisor.


• Report any material shortages/needs immediately to field supervisor.


• Report application issues, application scheduling (weeding/Non-selective herbicide), or customer complaints to General Manager/Maintenance Manager immediately.


• Maintain necessary hygiene and appearance—requirements described in employee handbook.


• Always wear work boots, along with all PPE requirements during workday.


• Maintain a professional and courteous environment at shop, customer locations, and around peers.


• Perform snow assignments in a safe manner

Qualifications

• At least High School Diploma or GED Equivalent


• Valid PA Driver License preferred


• Pass Background check upon request


• Able to lift to 50 pounds
