Role Description:
Kanazeh Lawn Service is looking for a skilled and motivated Landscape Foreman / Crew Lead to oversee landscaping projects and ensure quality execution. This role requires hands-on leadership in tasks such as mulching, edging, planting, trimming shrubs, and general landscape maintenance. You’ll lead a team, ensure safety and efficiency, and uphold our high standards of workmanship. If you have experience in landscaping and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces, apply today!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the landscape crew in various tasks, including mulching, planting, edging, trimming shrubs, and basic maintenance.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
- Operate and oversee the use of landscaping equipment and trailers.
- Train and mentor crew members to develop their skills and maintain productivity.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project goals are met.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles to ensure proper functionality and longevity.
- Assist with seasonal services, including spring and fall cleanups and snow removal when needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous landscaping experience, including operating lawn maintenance equipment.
- Ability to haul and maneuver trailers.
- Leadership experience is preferred, with the ability to guide and motivate a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
Hours & Additional Information:
- Work hours vary by season, typically starting between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM and ending around 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
- This position is offered as a 1099 contract role, with potential for W2 employment in the future.
- Annual bonuses and paid time off available based on tenure.
- Additional services include spring and fall cleanups, as well as snow removal during the winter months.
