Job Overview

The Landscape Sales / Designer position is responsible for preparing accurate, highly creative landscape design solutions to suit a variety of site conditions and client preferences. The primary focus is on designing uniquely desirable living spaces, diverse in style, within a rugged, naturalized environment. This individual will also focus on the closing of profitable sales opportunities in a timely fashion, while providing the ultimate client experience through a relationship of trust and communication.

Job Overview

The Landscape Sales / Designer position is responsible for preparing accurate, highly creative landscape design solutions to suit a variety of site conditions and client preferences. The primary focus is on designing uniquely desirable living spaces, diverse in style, within a rugged, naturalized environment. This individual will also focus on the closing of profitable sales opportunities in a timely fashion, while providing the ultimate client experience through a relationship of trust and communication.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Achievement of monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals
• Recording all leads and sales in Sales Engine/Aspire upon initial contact
• Responding to all customer communications with the 5:10 rule.  
• Creating professional CAD designs to scale that are easily viewed by potential clients
• Create estimates to proposals along with contracts and presenting to clients
• Reviewing job costing to insure profitability of all projects
• Ensuring all contracts are signed and the collection of all project funds owed
• Performing final walk through of all landscape installation projects after receiving confirmation from the production manager the install is complete
• Providing all landscape install clients with a full service or horticulture contract
• Present yourself in a professional manner with New Garden Landscaping logoed apparel 
• Demonstrate “The New Garden Way” in your daily actions

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of landscape design experience and 3 years of sales experience
• Energetic and capable of building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, associations and employees
• Organized in all areas (personal office space, company vehicle, time management and organization of information)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Coachable and accountable
• Ability to maintain balance between creativity and attention to detail
• Goal oriented, self-motivated and requiring minimal supervision
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
• Valid NC Drivers License
